Welcome to MGLA Cafe! The intention of this forum is to continue the discussions that occur during MGLA meetings (as well as during the breaks). Virtually any subject in the motion graphics universe is fair game; we just ask that you exercise the same decorum as you would in face-to-face interactions at our meetings. This forum is not necessarily intended as a replacement for the many fine software-specific forums out there, but we do hope it becomes a useful help line where users can help each other out when either technical or artistic questions arise.
To borrow a phrase from online community pioneer The Well, "You Own Your Own Words." This means you accept full responsibility (and any liability) for your statements. If anyone wishes to quote your postings, they must receive your explicit permission. MGLA does not take credit nor blame for the discussions that take place here. However, in extreme circumstances, we reserve the right to delete posts that range too far off topic, or are detrimental to the civility of the community (for example, attacking another member personally, or unsubstantiated slams against a vendor).
We're very proud of the helpful, inclusive community MGLA has become, and hope our online extension here continues the theme.
